Payton made us proud on achieving a Prize 1 award at the NADKC Mid West VGP test held September 3/4 2016. He did his famous launch to begin each of the three water tests. You will also see this picture on the inside cover of the September issue of Gun Dog magazine. Payton now has entered 3 tests – the Derby, the Solms, and the VGP and received Prize 1 on each test.

Payton excels even beyond test scores when hunting in the field. His field search, point, and water work is the dream of every bird hunter. His field capability is matched with his V ( excellent ) rating for conformation. Weighing 85 pounds and standing 27 inches at the shoulder he is a most impressive looking male DK.

Payton is now standing at stud for approved females. Females must be registered and qualified DK’s. Qualified means having passed the Solms test and having positive hip x-rays.

Good Morning,

I spoke to you on the phone last week regarding DKs. Also spoke to some breeders down south (Chad Kunz amongst others).

I am still planning to stop by to have a look at your DKs. Is Payton the male that Chad used to breed?

Do you anticipate having a litter with Payton again? That is a beautiful dog.
